Are the robots coming for our jobs?
According to Reed Tucker’s article titled “Why no job is safe from the rise of robots”, he asserts that Hollywood has it wrong and the highly intelligent machines, robots, that will be unleashed in the near future won’t be coming for our lives. They’ll be coming for our jobs. For those who equate the two to be the same, that could be very frightening.
I, however, agree that the robots that take most of the jobs in the future will not be physical but rather artificial and mostly invisible algorithms that optimize and standardize nearly everything.
It is imperative to embrace a continuous change philosophy as those that will succeed in the future will be those who reinvent themselves multiple times within a lifetime, especially as technology continues to advance.
